Past is Exciting and Important

The 60-minute interactive workshop is a trip through history that covers the world events in science, sports, space travel, and history, with a touch of trivia. Community history features travel, schools, churches, disasters, and life styles in St.Charles.

Especially for: Bear

Leader Requirements:

A list of Scout names with birth date (month/day/year) no less than 2 weeks before the program so that research may be completed.
Each Scout and adult should wear a nametag with name written in dark marker.
Please refer to your Scout manual for details of the remaining points needed to complete required work.

What was happening in the world

Covers what happened on the day each Scout was born, as well as when he was 5-years old, and what is important about July 20, 1969.

Community History

Workshop includes an overview of how people heated their homes, and where the schools, churches and fire station were located.
