Your Library plays a very important and active role in encouraging and developing an interest in lifelong literacy and learning.
The goal of Youth Services is to serve the child, infant-age 5; student, grades K-8; and adult by providing and maintaining a collection of materials, offering assistance in readers services, retrieving information, and presenting programs to stimulate reading.

Watch a recent release on the big screen. Titles will be posted at the ASK ME Desk. Pizza, popcorn, and lemonade will be served.

Join storyteller A. Denise Farrugia at Panera Bread in St. Charles for stories, songs and surprises. Come by and stay for all the stories or just a few. Story sets at 2:00, 2:15, 2:30 and 2:45, by the fireplace. |

You Build with LEGO®
Family
Friday, March 2 • 1:30–3:30 p.m.
Dinosaurs
Bring your imagination. We have all you will need to create with LEGO® bricks. Your creation will be displayed in Youth Services until the next event. Children through age 7 must be accompanied by an adult. Students in grades 3–8 may attend without an adult. Parental signature is needed for photos to be posted to Library Facebook page. REGISTER |

Read Across America Day – Dr. Seuss Mania

Join in the celebration of Dr. Seuss’ birthday. There will something for everyone – movies, book trivia, guessing games, the Library wheel, giggles, and many, many Seuss antics. REGISTER |

Meal Fee: $5 per person due at registration Pack up your sleeping bag and flashlight to discover what can happen in the Library when it closes for the night. The evening will be interactive with relays, hunts, gaming, and a few surprises. Minimum of 20 students with parents registered by March 1 will be necessary to hold event. REGISTER
