Leader Requirements:
- A list of Scout names with birth date (month/day/year) no less than 2 weeks before the program so that research may be completed.
- Each Scout and adult should wear a nametag with name written in dark marker.
- Please refer to your Scout manual for details of the remaining points needed to complete required work.
What was happening in the world
- Covers what happened on the day each Scout was born, as well as when he was 5-years old, and what is important about July 20, 1969.
Community History
- Program includes an overview of how people heated their homes, and where the schools, churches and fire station were located.
Taking it home
- Handout – Worksheet to complete Requirement 8 A and 8 E.
- Birth date research packet specific to each Scout.
