Twitch is a squirrel that lives in the school yard. He knows the humans love him because they not only leave food for him, but surround it with wonderful toys to challenge him and help him get his exercise. One evening, he finds himself in the sights of an owl. While trying to escape, he offends the principal's dog and winds up running into the school building with the dog in hot pursuit. Twitch runs from classroom to classroom trying to get away and eventually meeting all the school's class pets. Each part of the story is told from the point of view of a different pet.

Out you go!,' as a response. She tries to clean. 'Aaaarrgghh! Spider! Out you go!' It doesn't seem she can do anything right! Then, the family notices the beautiful, sparkly webs she makes. Maybe they can live as one family? Then, again, maybe not...

This exciting adventure is based on the true life of Abbie Burgess who helped care for the lighthouse for 22 years.
