Pinkalicious' mommy has given her brand new ice skates. The problem is, though, they are not pink or even purple, or blue, or even green. They are plain white! So Pinkalicious gets out her cotton candy pink crayon and carefully colors her skates all over. They look pinkatastic! Pinkalicious can't wait to glide and spin in her cotton candy skates. Her family goes to the rink the very next day. Pinkalicious is not ready to wobble and fall, but that is what she keeps doing. Something awful happens to her skates because of her falls. What will Pinkalicious do to keep from feeling sad?

The fun really begins when her friends arrive dressed like princesses. They play musical thrones with the prize being a pinkatastic wand, make tiaras, and have a fabulous dinner of foods such as Princess-and-the-Split-Pea Soup. Suddenly, Pinkalicious hears a sniffle. It is her friend Alison crying because she is scared to sleep over. Whatever can Pinkalicious and her friends do to help Alison?
