When Henry's parents are both killed in an accident, he is sent to live with Aunt Agatha in her boarding house. Aunt Agatha is extremely 'frugal.' Each boarder is allowed two pieces of toast for breakfast and the ham at dinner is sliced so thin you can see through it. Furthermore, Aunt Agatha has a hard and fast rule against music of any kind. Then, Harvey Angell arrives. He is small enough to fit into the smallest room in the attic and best of all, he NEVER eats breakfast. Henry wonders though what Aunt Agatha will do when she sees Harvey's flute. Her reaction as well as the reaction of the other boarders is almost magical. Can Harvey Angell be the salvation Henry needs or is he much darker than that?
