This little girl has other plans for her sleeping family. She gets out her horn, and you can guess what happens next! This simple good morning story is a great read-aloud choice for younger preschoolers.

Especially fun for the littler ones will be the fact that in the stories, the youngest or least significant of the characters prove to be the smartest or bravest. These tales also reinforce a child's sense of right or wrong while providing a glimpse into other cultures.

This tale is one retold from A Thousand and One Nights. It takes place in ancient Baghdad where Sindbad the Sailor tells the story of his wondrous travels. Now, Sindbad the Sailor had been on many journeys, but sometimes his stories grew out of proportion to his actual travels. This story will enthrall anyone who enjoys monsters, action, and wicked traps.
It is illustrated by the author with exquisite drawings.

Every morning, Skippyjon Jones wakes with the birds in their nest. This would not be strange if Skippyjon were a bird, but he is a Siamese cat. On this particular morning, Skippyjon's mother brings him home to his room to think about what it means to be a Siamese cat. Once by himself, Skippyjon begins to sing, 'Oh, I'm Skippyjon Jones, and I bounce on my bed, and once or SIX times, I land on my head.' As he looks at his reflection in his mirror, he concludes that he is not a Siamese cat, but a Chihuahua! He walks into his closet and his thoughts take him to Mexico.
