In A Kitten Tale, we meet four charming kittens. Three of them love to play outdoors, but they have never seen snow, and they are afraid of it. All year, they dread it. A fourth kitten, who is more adventurous, says, 'I can't wait.' With cheerful kitten illustrations that capture the essence of a kitten personality, this is a great read for families who want to talk about new experiences and how we can choose to be scared of them or to embrace them as an adventure.

Any young child who has ever lost a beloved stuffed toy or blanket, or has feared it was lost, will relate to this story of a toddler who loses her favorite stuffed toy, Knuffle Bunny. On a trip to the laundromat with her dad, Trixie loses Knuffle Bunny. Since Trixie can't talk yet, she tries to tell her dad of the emergency in the only way she knows how: gibberish. She throws a tantrum when he doesn't understand. They are both very upset until they arrive home, where Trixie's mom notices Knuffle Bunny's absence. All's well that ends well: Knuffle Bunny is found at the laundromat, and Trixie speaks her very first words! The spot-on portrayal of a toddler tantrum is also likely to amuse parents.
