Kenneth Rabbit, known by his friends as Kenny, loves books. His favorites are fairy tales and natural history. So it was only natural when his father discovered a dragon on their sheep farm that he sent Kenny to investigate. Kenny finds that instead of being a vicious beast, this dragon loves culture and books almost as much as he loves creme brulee. He and Kenny become close friends. However, when the town's people find out about the dragon, they are insistent that their local dragon slayer exterminate the scourge. When Kenny finds out that his other closest friend also happens to be the dragon slayer, he must find a way to keep his friends from a battling to the death. This humorous book is a loving tribute to Kenneth Grahame's classic, 'The Reluctant Dragon.'

This clever collection of poems will have you laughing out loud. One of my favorites is The Last Piece of Cake. 'Whoever ate the last piece of cake, I hope that you get a bellyache, or bit when you sit on a poisonous snake. Perhaps all the bones in your body will break. What's that you say? It was me? ME who ate the last piece of cake? My mistake.'
