Where do monsters go when they need their hair trimmed, or a shave and a scare cut? Once a month, a small boy opens up his dad's barber shop after midnight for an assortment of monster clients. Whether using scissors, clippers, or weed whackers, the boy has them looking their frightful best in no time. The illustrations are cute and the monsters not too scary in this amusing picture book.

The new fourth grade class of Aesop Elementary School has a reputation among teachers as a 'high-energy' group. All previous teachers are happy that a new teacher will meet the challenge. The class is sure that they can conquer any teacher they meet. Enter Mr. Jupiter, who has taught Swahili at Dooglehorn Elementary in Switzerland, hula dancing at Balderdash Academy in London, and studied at the Hoochie-Cootchie Institute for misbehaved monkeys. He also is a former student of Aesop Elementary School. Each chapter is a retelling of an Aesop fable, with students as the characters, complete with its own moral. You've never before heard Aesop's fables like these!

One day a brave prince is riding by a tower when he hears the crying of fair Rapunzel. He asks Rapunzel as loudly as possible, 'Rapunzel, Rapunzel throw down your hair!' However, Rapunzel can't quite make out what he is saying. He is surprised by what comes down, but she thought he said her underwear. Rapunzel doesn't need to be rescued: she was only upset that she couldn't get her hair quite the way she wanted it. However, she keeps misunderstanding the prince, but willingly throws down whatever she thinks he has asked for, including dirty socks instead of curly locks, a cantaloupe instead of a piece of rope, and more. However, Rapunzel's faulty hearing makes for a happy ending. Read 'Falling for Rapunzel' to find out what happens!
