The summer of 1955 starts off as normal as can be for the Collins girls. Kentucky, the oldest, is the most popular girl in town. Virginia is the prettiest. Georgia is the smartest. The youngest, Carolina, is still trying to find her place in life. With their father gone, their mama is working, but she is struggling to pay the bills. This crisis is softened by the arrival of their favorite cousin, Tadpole. Tad is just a great character that everybody wants around. When they find out just why Tad has come to visit, they spring into action.

Drawing on the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D. C.'s large collection of artifacts, photographs, and taped histories, this book extends the museum's collection by bringing it to the reader. It tells the story of the Holocaust, and how it affected the daily lives of innocent people throughout Europe.

Theodosia's adventures continue to revolve around ancient artifacts at the Museum of Legends and Antiquities. Who would have guessed that going to a magic show with her friend Sticky Will would lead to extraordinary events involving an emerald tablet, secrets about her birth place, a funeral, and the very interesting Great Awi Bubu? And how does Clive Fagenbush fit into all of this? The first book in the series is Theodosia and the Serpents of Chaos followed by Theodosia and the Staff of Osiris and then this one.

Tombs. Mummies. Curses. Secret Societies. Mystery. Theodosia Throckmornton knows a lot about ancient Egypt and that is a good thing given all the peculiar happenings that come her way. Her mother is an archaeologist, her father is the head curator of the Museum of Legends and Antiquities in London, and her brother, well, he's younger and that is enough said about that. So, as you would expect, Theo spends plenty of time at the museum and it is her ability to feel and see ancient curses that are attached to artifacts that causes all the trouble. The legendary Heart of Egypt amulet is the most cursed artifact Theo has ever encountered. From the moment it comes to the museum, Theo's life is changed and if she does not find a way to return the amulet to Egypt, the British Empire will crumble. Theo's dangerous quest will have you on the edge of your seat. This is the first book in the series followed by Theodosia and the Staff of Osiris and Theodosia and the Eyes of Horus.

Theodosia is back and so is Mr. Tetley of the British Museum, but he is not at all the same as when she last crossed paths with him. To add to the chaos, mummies from museums all over London mysteriously appear at her father's museum and no one knows how they got there or why. Another mysterious adventure filled with lots of mummies, curses, secret societies, and now, governesses. The first book in the series is Theodosia and the Serpents of Chaos followed by Theodosia and the Staff of Osiris and continued with Theodosia and the Eyes of Horus.
