With the passing of Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson and Ed McMahon, a lot of us have been thinking about the 1970s and 1980s, icons of pop culture, and feeling just a little nostalgic.

The Museum of Broadcast Communications has a great website and will no doubt evoke memories.
The National Archives has an online exhibit of Pulitzer Prize winner John H. White’s Portrait of Black Chicago. The photographs were taken in 1973-1974.
Beloit College does a “Mindset List” every year. Check out what this year’s (or last year’s) freshman do and don’t remember. For example, to them Charlie’s Angels brings to mind Drew Barrymore, not Farrah.
