Book Club Requirements
To expand your reading experiences beyond the books you have at home, books or audiobooks must be checked out from the St. Charles Public    Library.You need to read or listen to the entire book or audiobook to be able to include the title on your book log.
You may log-in once each week in Adult Services at the Readers Services or Information Services Desks, or in Youth Services at the ASK ME Desk.
We are unable to accept book logs via the book drop, mail, phone, fax, or e-mail.

Weekly Drawings
Each week that you log-in books, you may complete an entry for the weekly prize drawing for a $10 Borders Gift Card. After Level Four, you may continue to log-in once each week for weekly prize drawing.
All weekly entries go into the Grand Prize drawing for either a mountain bike compliments of The Bike Rack, or an iPod.
Weekly drawings are held each Friday at 4 pm. Grand Prize will be anounced on Friday, August 8.

Special Events:

Ice Cream Social: Wednesday, July 16 at 7 pm. in the Meeting Room. Book Club members and their families are invited.

Viewpoint: Let’s Talk Books Discussion Group on Thursday, July 17 from Noon to 12:45 p.m. Gather round to discuss The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. Details at the ASK ME Desk.

Readathon: Thursday, July 17 from 5-8 pm.  Read silently for the entire 3 hours and earn credit for 2 books!  Bring a sandwich or snack. Cookies & lemonade will be provided. Drawing will be held for books. Members of GTGR will receive credit for 2 books. Registration required.

Gaming Overnight Lock-In:  Friday, July 11– Saturday July 12, 7:30 pm – 7:30 am. For students finishing Grades 6-8.    MEAL FEE: $5 per person. It will be a fast-paced overnight event filled with games: video, computer, and board. There will be Wii Sports and Wii Play. Test your skills at RuneScape, Dance Dance Revolution or Guitar Hero. Pizza, pop, snacks, ice cream, and a light breakfast will be served. Parental signature required. Only In-Person registration accepted. Minimum of 30 students registered by July 7 will be necessary to hold program. Students outside the District: $10 per person. Register beginning 6/27.
