Technology Center

The Technology Center provides 18 computers with Internet access and Microsoft Office 2010 applications, as well as two scanners. The Technology Center staff offer assistance for using the programs.

Use of the Technology Center is limited to St. Charles Public Library card holders. (Please also see “Computer & Internet Usage” for Adults, High School Students, Visitors, and Students Grades K – 8.)

• Monday-Thursday:
  9:00 a.m. to 8:50 p.m.
• Friday:
  9:00 a.m. to 7:50 p.m.
• Saturday:
  9:00 a.m. to 4:50 p.m.
• Sunday:
  Noon to 4:50 p.m. (Labor Day - May)
  1 to 3:50 p.m. (June - Labor Day)

* Hours subject to change.

NOTE:

• The Technology Center closes 10 minutes before the Library.
• Food and beverages are NOT allowed in the Tech Center.

Half of the funding for the Tech Center project was from a State of Illinois Live and Learn Construction grant. The other half was shared equally by the St. Charles Public Library Foundation and the Library. The Friends of the Library was a major contributor to the project through its gift to the Library Foundation.
