Sunday Afternoon Concerts
The Sunday Afternoon Concerts feature a variety of local performers for your listening pleasure. This year's series includes alternating classical and popular music.

The performances are all at 2:00 p.m. in the Carnegie Community Room. Seating is limited for this free concert series. Doors will open 20 minutes prior to each performance. DROP IN
October 4 ■ Great American Composers
Award-winning vocalist Maureen Christine, Michael Bazan on woodwinds, and pianist/accordionist Don Stille will perform songs from some of our greatest songwriters: Rodgers & Hammerstein, Cole Porter, Johnny Mercer, Gershwin, and more! This program is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency. Registration is recommended for this concert.
*October 25 ■ The Avanti Guitar Trio will perform music from the Renaissance through Romantic eras, Spain and Latin America, and arrangements composed specifically for this trio of guitarists.
November 8 ■ Basso Nouveau will perform classical Brazilian Bossa Nova and Samba. Featuring Dan Anderson on tuba and bass; Steve Ramsdell on guitar; and Heitor Garcia on percussion.
