• Europa World Online
A great resource for statistics, recent political history, and government, includes Europa World Year Book and the nine-volume Regional Surveys of the World.
• World Data Analyst Online
Detailed statistical comparisons of countries across the world, using both the most recent and historical figures.

Learn more than 70 languages online. Byki uses flashcards and interactive word games to lock foreign words and phrases in your long term memory. (You'll need to set up an account with Byki so you can keep track of your progress.)
• Chicago Tribune
Coverage of the full-text paper from 1985 to Current.
• CultureGrams
Features cultures of 182 countries, including maps, statistics, photographs, national anthems, recipes and currency converters. Includes information about each U.S. state as well.
• Daily Life Online

News, business and legal information. News coverage includes deep backfiles and up-to-the-minute stories from around the world. Business information includes articles, market research, industry reports, and SEC filings. Legal materials include case law, statutes and regulations as well as secondary source materials.
• Mango Languages
Easy and fun online language-learning system teaches conversation skills for a wide variety of languages. Great for travelers, beginners and ESL students. Listen, repeat, and learn using material designed from native conversations.
• New York Times
