Adult Recommended Reading Lists - the St Charles Public Library provides reading lists, organized into the general theme categories.
Amazon.com - This online bookstore provides access to several million titles. One
feature that is particularly helpful, and gives it the edge over Books
in Print, is the indication of whether a title is "permanently out of
stock" and therefore more difficult to locate; however, Amazon does sell
out-of-print books. Because Amazon is selling a product, it gives customers
more information than Books in Print on how long it will take to find
a given title. Amazon will also run a search for a title if given contact
information. This site also offers book reviews, from the publishers as
well as the general public.
Downloadable Audiobooks - Information about NetLibrary/Recorded Books,
eMedia Library MP3 Player Instructions, Audio Online Book Clubs.
Authors' Web Sites - Learn more about the authors and their books on their personal web sites.
What's
Next - Search adult fiction for books linked by character(s), setting,
or other common traits at the Kent District Library web site.
