CODE OF CONDUCT FOR PATRONS OF THE ST. CHARLES PUBLIC LIBRARY

The St. Charles Public Library offers an environment that is conducive to reading and study. People using the Library must conduct themselves in a manner that is appropriate to the Library’s nature and purpose. Anyone who interferes with the normal function or use of the Library by other patrons and/or staff, abuses Library property or materials, willfully violates the rules prescribed by the Board, or exhibits rude, disrespectful and/or threatening behavior towards other patrons and/or staff, is subject to removal from the Library and/or suspension of Library privileges.

Patrons must wear appropriate attire in the Library. Appropriate attire includes, but is not limited to, shirts and shoes.
