New Games On the Way!

New games have been ordered and are either already in the library or on their way. Either way, they can be put on hold for your St. Charles library card.

For Wii only: ATV fever, Disney Universe, Go Vacation, Mario: Sports Mix, Nicktoons MLB and Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster. For XBOX360 only: Carnival games: Monkey See, Monkey Do. For all three consoles, Wii, XBOX360 and PS3: LEGO Disney Pirates of the Caribbean, Tony Hawk: Shred and Puss in Boots. Click here to check the catalog. We would like to hear about games you would like us to purchase. Please have your St. Charles library card in hand and click here to make a request. We can't purchase everything, but all requests will be considered.

New Games for Fall

New video games are coming and will soon be available to check out or put on hold. For Wii, we already have Build-a-Bear Workshop: Friendship Valley, Cars 2, Kung Fu Panda: Legendary Heroes, Monopoly Streets, and the Smurfs Dance Party. For PS3, Disney's Bolt has arrived. Cars 2 and Monopoly Streets will also be available in PS3 and XBOX 360. Bolt is coming for Wii and XBOX360.

Coming soon for Wii only are Honda Fever, Hot Wheels Track Attack, Namco Museum Megamix, New Carnival Games, and Sesame Street: Ready, Set, Grover. Other games soon to be available for all three consoles are: Ben 10, Ultimate Alien, De Blob 2 and Kung Fu Panda. Coming for you PS3 baseball fans will be MLB 11: The Show.

Keep your eye out. All of these new games will all soon be available to check out.

A lot of new games have been ordered and are available to check out or put on hold.  For Wii, Backyard Sports Football: Rookie Rush, Cars toon: Mater's Tall Tales, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Epic Mickey, Guilty Party,  Kirby's Epic Yarn,  MySims Party, MySims Sky Heroes, Spore Hero, Wii Party and Wipeout the Game. ModNation Racers is new for Playstation 3. For your new Kinect: Adrenalin Misfits, Kinectimals and Kinect Sports. Are there games you don't see and would like? Please feel free to put in a request,

Due to popular demand, we have just acquired some new games. They are: LEGO Harry Potter years 1-4, Super Mario Galaxy 2  and Toy Story 3, all for Wii. We will soon have Split/Second for Playstation 3, as well. Take a look in the catalog if you would like to put them on hold.

Several new games are available, or will be available soon. Jump Start Pet Rescue, Littlest Pet Shop, Endless Ocean, Up, Monsters vs Aliens, Baseball Blast!, New Super Mario Brothers and Katamari Forever. If you don't see them at the ASK ME desk, be sure to put them on hold. If you have seen the games at the ASK ME desk, you will know that most of them never make it back, they just keep on checking out.

Happy New Year! We have several new games for check out in Youth Services: LEGO Rock Band, LEGO Indiana Jones 2, Little King's Story, MySims Agents, and SimAnimals. You probably won't find them in their place at the ASK ME desk, but you can put a hold on them through the catalog. Never put a hold on anything before? Here's how to do it.

New video games have arrived! New titles include: Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, Gallop & Ride, Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince, Toy Story Mania and Where the Wild Things Are. If you can't find them at the library, you should put them on hold. Games are popular and are practically never in the library, they are always checked out!
Did you know that St. Charles Public Library has had video games to check out since September 2008? We have games for Playstation 3, Wii and XBOX 360.
