Donations of Used Books and Other Items
We gladly accept donations of used books and other items in good condition.
Examples of acceptable items are:
- recent bestsellers
- fiction
- nonfiction
- children’s books
- CDs
- DVDs
We do not accept:
- textbooks
- magazines
- encyclopedias
- condensed Readers’ Digest
- items damaged by water, mold, smoke, or with torn, stained or missing pages
Small quantities of items may be placed in the donation cart in the lobby.
We accept larger donations, packed in boxes or sturdy bags, at our loading dock with advance notification. Due to space limitations, a maximum of 10 boxes/bags can be accepted at one time.
Donations may be tax deductible. Receipts may be obtained at the Circulation Desk. The Library does not provide valuations of donations.

The fall and spring book sales are the Friends’ primary fundraisers for the year.
The Friends are a group interested in
advancing the services of the Library.
They support programs to supplement
the Library's budget.
