Donations
Proceeds from the Friends’ sales are used
to support Library programs and services.
We are fortunate to receive many donations
from the community, and we are grateful to
our donors for their generosity.
The Library accepts book donations
throughout the year. Please bring all donations to the Adult
Circulation Desk.
Some donations are
used to fill gaps in the Library’s collection;
most go the Friends of the Library for their
book sales. To be accepted, books should
be in good condition and not musty because
the Library must pay for disposal.
We accept all kinds of materials with the
following exceptions:
- No
Reader's Digest condensed books
- No
text books
- No
magazines (including National Geographic)
- No encyclopedias
- No books with mold or mildew
An acknowledgement of your donation will be provided. Note: The
Library does not put a value on your donation
for tax purposes.
