“My work has evolved from starting off with a story and building a picture accordingly, to starting off with loose drawings and building a story from what I have created. I have enjoyed this process because it has allowed me to work more freely, rather than cornering me in, with a concrete idea. This freedom has been extremely refreshing to me and has made the process of making art a lot more fun. I feel that my ideas have stayed very much the same, because they still include elements of landscape and fictitious creatures. However, this change in execution has helped me get beyond my instinctual perfectionist attitude, and has really allowed my ideas to continually evolve, and create a world of their own.”
