Heather Anderson

June 2006 – Artist of the Month

Heather Anderson’s impressionist landscape paintings have been exhibited in the U.S. and abroad, including the United States Embassy in Yaounde, United Republic of Cameroon, and the National Academy School of Fine Arts in New York, New York. Her work also is on display at the U.S. Headquarters for GAM (Global Asset Management), the specialist asset management company owned by UBS AG.

Heather was born in Saskatchewan, Canada and grew up in Spokane, Washington. She received degrees in finance and computer science in Washington. She has lived in various locations across the country. Most recently she spent eight years in New York City where she studied art.

She gets her inspiration from her many travels around the world. Most of her work is done from photos of places she has visited in Europe, Asia, South Africa and the United States.
